Let me clarify this again for those who are having a hard time here: Breslow whiffed at the TD. He admitted as much. Sports writers acknowledged he failed. He could have improved the chances the team had for a deep playoff run but he didn’t. Frankly anyone here who claims they are thrilled with his haul at the TD is lying.

I really don’t care what the other GMs did. I know other teams who were buyers improved their team. For example the Ms got Naylor and Suarez. Given our offense lately we certainly could have used some help-help we didn’t get.

Yup. I’ll keep it real with Breslows incompetence at the TD. You guys desperately need a dose of reality. But as I wrote elsewhere the flops label goes away for 2025 if they don’t blow their chance to make the playoffs.

What “data”? We’re battling for a WC spot. Had Breslow done his job instead of whiffing (remember: he even admitted he wasn’t successful making your opinion irrelevant) we might have been the favorites to win at least a pennant. So instead of getting a guy like Naylor who could have provided the team with much needed offense we ended up with a DFA’d .220 hitter. It’s generally accepted that we didn’t succeed at the TD-meaning Breslow didn’t succeed. Too bad. He missed a chance to improve what is already a good team. As you know good FLOPS teams haven’t been all that common, now have they.

Guess what Maxxy : this is a baseball forum where fans get to express their opinions about any facet of the team they want. We needed a good SP and a 1B man with power. He brought us M&Ms. He WHIFFED. He didn’t do his job. You’re not too bright if you think I wanted him to fail. I wanted him to provide the team with what it needed to compete for a ring. And I don’t really care what ypu think.

Correct. Breslow whiffed at the deadline. Imagine how much better the team would have been had he done his job.

You can't teach 100. He's young. With some good coaching he could become a force. Time will tell.
