    Its been much longer than that: in Sept last year his numbers were .172/.517. He has been awful for a long long time. What is Cora waiting for??

    He deserved a chance IMO. He had it. Now its time to sit him. His numbers this year: .178/.535/44. These are intolerable. He needs to sit from now on.

Won't win every game, but he will give us a chance in nearly every game Price will be a decent #2 SP Porcello is looking for a good bounceback year. He will be decent, not great, but decent Wright should be selling used cars Agree about Johnson and Velasquez.

    It was a dumb decision to send him....too little chance of success. That said, despite the mistakes Cora and his coaching staff have made early on, its hard to argue with 18-5. I give them a pass for now.

    Not a big fan of Wright....I hope his stay in AAA is long and prosperous.

    I don't watch any Sox games. I watch every Yankee game so I can cheer for whoever they are playing against.

    I don't think trading him is out of the question at all. Despite his recent tear his OPS is just .733 overall-which is an acceptable though not outstanding number for someone whose dWAR so far this year is -0.2 and whose dWAR over six seasons averages less than 1.0. Bradley is a very good CF; he is not the best in the game. If we could get a haul from another team I would consider trading him-not now, but at the trade deadline.

    Cobb fits in very nicely into the Orioles rotation. Like Eck said, they NEEDED him.

    I don't think Austin intentionally tried to spike Holt. For me the issue is that he should have been more careful about in which direction his spikes were pointed. Its like in hockey-a player is responsible for where his stick ends up. He gets called for high sticking if his stick strikes another player in the face regardless of whether it was an accident or not. Austin is guilty of being careless, and his carelessness could have resulted in a severe injury. He paid for it in a small way by getting plunked in the back.
