  1. No headphones for the pooches?
  2. Compensation for JJ Hardy's two weenie HRs
  3. Too cool! Pesky pole special
  4. First in runs scored; second in fielding percentage (though thats not a great stat to rely on).......next to last in ERA in the AL. Its pretty obvious in which department we have not been doing the job.
  5. Did anyone seriously think that David Price was not going to be an ace for the Red Sox this year? As long as he stays healthy he is going to perform as he has always performed. Kudos to Dombrowski for going out and getting the best available SP.
  6. Excellent game....productive night. Good night all.
  7. I think that time is past. Pablo has left the building.
  8. I could have called this game. How about Bogaerts? He has three hits
  9. And we don't? Buchholz....Kelly...Wright (yes, he will regress. The question is how far). Every team has question marks. Thats why its more useful to look at performance.
  10. Their pitching ranks 7th in the AL; we are 14th. We are worse than they are right now
  11. Jays down by six; Yankees down by five. Could be another productive night. Price doesn't seem to have his best stuff, but he is gritting it out.
  12. Its not like Farrell doesn't do anything right. But he has sure had his share of questionable decisions this year...and last. He just isn't a very good in game tactician. His strength is in protecting his players and handling the media. Like Francona.
  13. Farrell's genius was on full display with the lineup he concocted
  14. THAT is the way to start a game
  15. My guess is that he will be closer to 3.5 this year than 4
  16. Rick Porcello ERA/ERA+ 2016: 3.51/114 Rick Porcello ERA/ERA+ 2014: 3.43/113 I think THIS is who Porcello is. He had a bad year last year, no doubt. He is due for a rebound year.
  17. Great win....good night all.
  18. Freeman just pulled a Jeter. Can we label that act a "Jeter"?
  19. Lets see his toes: if they aren't bleeding, it didn't hit you
  20. The Jays were up 5-1 vs the CWS; now they are down 6-5. Could be a productive night....
  21. They beat the Orioles. Thats what matters. If this score holds up we are one game closer to first place
  22. He is actually not pitching badly....ERA 2.38. His WHIP is high though
