    First in runs scored; second in fielding percentage (though thats not a great stat to rely on).......next to last in ERA in the AL. Its pretty obvious in which department we have not been doing the job.

    Did anyone seriously think that David Price was not going to be an ace for the Red Sox this year? As long as he stays healthy he is going to perform as he has always performed. Kudos to Dombrowski for going out and getting the best available SP.

    Its not like Farrell doesn't do anything right. But he has sure had his share of questionable decisions this year...and last. He just isn't a very good in game tactician. His strength is in protecting his players and handling the media. Like Francona.

    Rick Porcello ERA/ERA+ 2016: 3.51/114 Rick Porcello ERA/ERA+ 2014: 3.43/113 I think THIS is who Porcello is. He had a bad year last year, no doubt. He is due for a rebound year.
