Away from the second baseman. Pretty simple. Bush league play, and Austin deserved to be hit by Kelly where he was hit.

I am going to call you on that BS Harmony....Austin intentionally spiked Holt. Not sure if you didn't see the game or what there, but he had his left leg elevated to just below the knee and pointed right at Holt, who was off the bag at the time. It was an intentional Bush league play and I am surprised Holt didn't clock him right then and there.

On second thought, I guess with the Yankees and Red Sox, its never over. Never will be.

After the first pitch he KNEW he was going to get drilled. He should have just taken his base anyway. He committed a Bush league play on Holt. He deserved what he got. As many pitches as it took....

I have seen MANY times where a pitcher misses the first time or the second time and drills the guy when his aim is good enough. Usually it takes one try, but when you spike a guy, you deserve what you get. Bush league play by Austin. I would say the same thing if it was a Sox player.

You get shots until you hit him in that circumstance. You don't get to spike our infielders-or any infielder for that matter.
