Nice to see that we aren’t the only team that can play like buffoons -
Didn’t we also finish in last place last year too? We are clearly the worst team in the division and have been for years. But hey-just wait til next year, right?
-
Henry told Bloom to cut costs. Bloom was in the Rays organization and Henry thought Bloom could create a winning team here like the Rays have done. It’s not working.
-
This what it looks like when a team gives up-not the Royals either. They are the better team.
-
Maybe it’s a discreet way of tanking?
-
It’s past the point that it’s best to try to win games any more. It’s best to lose every remaining game to improve our draft position. I just hope that miraculously we finish ahead of the Yankees

Game over
-
Once the players realized that management gave up on the team (appropriately) the players gave up too. I can’t blame them really. Just playing out the string.
-
Oh goody Nelson “11.57” Lamet in to save the day!
-
Our backs are no longer against the wall. That was weeks ago.
-
Nice pickoff attempt 🙄
-
Mirabelli? 😉
-
Reyes walk off Who’d a thunk it?
-
He also gave the Royals a run
-
Duval is useless
-
Damn I was almost right
-
Devers Right now
-
Did I miss anyone?
-
There have been a few bright spots beside Bello. Yoshida Martin Wink Duran There may be a few others. But for all intents and purposes this season is pretty much what was predicted for the team.
-
They are now five games out of the last playoff spot. The team has quit because management proved they didn’t believe in them enough to bring in the help they needed to make a run. Bello has already thrown a lot of pitches this year. It was enough for the night.
-
Nah He was getting tired. No need to risk injury. Save his arm for next year.
-
The Flops are almost as good as the Royals. So there’s that.
-
This Sox team is truly awful
-
And there’s a brain dead play by Duval. This team just isn’t focused
-
These guys alternate brain dead defensive plays with excellent ones
