That is because all three of those guys have sucked for a long time. None of them should be playing baseball this fall. I would have Workman AND Poyner but not Johnson or Velasquez.

I think we will do that....make it out of the ALDS. We should be favored in that round. It won't be a cakewalk, and if our opponent is on a roll, we will lose. Whoever gets hot in the playoffs wins.

Did you read my post? I said there is maybe a 20% chance at a ring. I didn't even mention the ALDS. We probably have a slightly better than 50% chance to make it to the ALCS. We are playing some really good teams, not the Orioles. We will not dominate any of them. If you expect that we will you will be very disappointed.

The playoffs are a crapshoot with the Sox having no more than a 20% chance at a ring. I would not crucify them for "gagging" in the playoffs when they have far less than a 50% chance to win it all. Its been a fun season...with some frustrating moments like this series. I have enjoyed it thoroughly.
