    I would trade anyone for the right package. This poll isn't realistic because we there is no "trade for" clause. If we get someone like Trout (yes, its unrealistic) everyone would want him traded; if we get a class A stiff no one would agree he should be traded. It all depends on what we get for him.

    He was part of the problem because he could only give us five innings. Then the pen was......well, the pen was the pen.

    The Sox continue to sleepwalk through the season. Hope everyone enjoyed last year. This year is a different story.

    Fine? We currently rank TENTH out of the 15 AL teams in BP ERA. "Fine" is a stretch at this point. Maybe they will become fine, but they are not fine yet.

    Sad, but predictable. Pedroia needs to get off the ball field and into a knee brace permanently to delay the need for a total knee replacement, which I think he will eventually need. As for the Red Sox, its time to move on.

    As I wrote elsewhere, Cora didn't have his team ready to start the season. It shows. Its obviously very early, but they are digging a hole for themselves.

    The Rays will be a thorn, but they cannot compete for the division-not with their budget and their fan base. It will be the Sox and the Yankees again.

    It was a stupid strategy IMO.....last year was last year. If you don't give your SPs a chance to pitch in ST then the regular season becomes an extension of ST, except its against ML hitters. This was totally predictable. I think they will come around, but this slow start was avoidable and predictable.

    Yep. Sale threw only nine innings. So you tell me: were they ready to start the season? Cora blew it. You can't get ready throwing nine innings.

    OK..outta here. This team wasn't ready to start playing, and for that I blame Cora. He screwed up ST and the team entered the season with no momentum. Bad strategy on Cora's part.
