    Nice. Sale just cannot put together consecutive good starts. Story of the season. No wonder his is 4-9.

    We are five games behind the Guardians in the lost column. Pretty tough hill to climb. Best we can realistically hope for is the second wild card. And there are a few other teams in that race.

    Sell sell sell. No way in hell we should trade a single prospect at this point. We should be in the business of obtaining meaningful prospects now that we have lost a series to the woeful Orioles. Within about a week or so we will be 6-7 games out of the last WC spot. SELL SELL SELL

    Cora and Dombrowski are coming of an epic season, and they followed it by a very ugly season. I give them both one more year. Make a deep playoff run next year or both should be canned.

    Amazingly, our pitching ranks seventh in ERA. The Yankees are just sixth in ERA. This team simply isn't focused; there is frequently no fight in them.

    Why? Because he is having a good game tonight? Since June 30 he his at .218/.586 and for the season .230/.715. I wouldn't mind seeing him go this offseason if we can upgrade in the OF. I would not release him, but I don't think he is all that valuable.

    Back in the lead. But if the brain dead manager leaves Rick the Prick in there we will be behind very very soon. We cannot afford to waste any more games.

    Johnson hasn't had a fair shot at pitching and sucking this year. Porcello has. And he has proven how much he sucks. He does not belong in the rotation. Time to give someone else a chance.

    We got this as long as we score 10 or more runs. The stiff on the mound for us actually has a higher ERA than their guy. Well over 5.

    The truth is that DD could not spend the necessary money to bolster the pen. He had to hope that somehow THIS wouldn't happen. Of course, it did. The other thing that happened is that our SP, which was supposed to be a strength of this team, has totally sucked. Also, there has been a clear lack of focus by nearly every player on this team as evidenced tonight by Bradley failing to back up Martinez in RF. Brain dead plays like that are commonplace this year. Finally, Cora has been exposed as an incompetent manager this year. Thats my own opinion for the debacle that is this year's team.

    No one is going to take Martinez off our hands. And he isn't going to opt out either. There isn't a place for him anywhere in the AL. Unfortunately, he is ours next year too.

    This is embarrassing.....losing to this team by five runs now. Anyone really thing that after this loss both Porcello and Cashner will win their starts? We should not have traded for Cashner. As the ship sinks into the west..........

    One more time: NOT HUSTLING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE, regardless of whether or not the run would have scored. Get it? Lack of hustle and mental errors on this team occur nearly every night. Yes, Price sucked when we needed a good start from him. It happens to SPs. But NOT HUSTLING should be punished.

    Back in April? Try all year long. This team is brain dead and its a major factor in why we aren't going to make the playoffs this year.
