We are five games behind the Guardians in the lost column. Pretty tough hill to climb. Best we can realistically hope for is the second wild card. And there are a few other teams in that race.

Sell sell sell. No way in hell we should trade a single prospect at this point. We should be in the business of obtaining meaningful prospects now that we have lost a series to the woeful Orioles. Within about a week or so we will be 6-7 games out of the last WC spot. SELL SELL SELL -
Cora and Dombrowski are coming of an epic season, and they followed it by a very ugly season. I give them both one more year. Make a deep playoff run next year or both should be canned.

Amazingly, our pitching ranks seventh in ERA. The Yankees are just sixth in ERA. This team simply isn't focused; there is frequently no fight in them.

Guardians and Rays both lose; A's behind late.

Why? Because he is having a good game tonight? Since June 30 he his at .218/.586 and for the season .230/.715. I wouldn't mind seeing him go this offseason if we can upgrade in the OF. I would not release him, but I don't think he is all that valuable.

Johnson hasn't had a fair shot at pitching and sucking this year. Porcello has. And he has proven how much he sucks. He does not belong in the rotation. Time to give someone else a chance.

We got this as long as we score 10 or more runs. The stiff on the mound for us actually has a higher ERA than their guy. Well over 5.
