    I vaguely remember some comments from JH that indicated he wants to keep costs down. So don’t expect much help if we haven’t imploded by the trade deadline.

    Trade deadline is July 31. By then we should know if the team has turned it around or if they are still sucking. As that day approaches we may need to disassemble this team.

    I agree. He can field but he can’t hit at all. What is he still doing in the ML Runners on first and third no one out= no runs, can’t win that way.

    I agree. Two weeks and no more. There is still a possibility we could get into the playoffs. What I don’t want to see happen is Bloom being late on the sellers trigger. That would leave us not only out of the playoffs but with many of the same bums we now are forced to watch flail around.

    He has a lot of company. Too much. With the improvement of the Orioles this year not only is this not a playoff team but they are a LAST PLACE team. Time to clean house. Trade Bogaerts rather than let him walk at the end of the year and get almost nothing for him. Send Dalbec down along with Duran. Duran needs more seasoning. Try to trade Martinez. DFA Bradley. Time to clean house. This team sucks.

    The standards from last night include not just one play or one player. When there are several players without their heads in the game then it’s best to make an example of one of them, embarrass him, and hope that the other brain dead players notice. Happens in other sports a lot.

    I turned the game off. What did he do? Are the Rays playing brain dead baseball overall like the Red Sox are?

    With the orioles playing so well we could easily be a last place team by the end of the year

    Turned the game off. This isn’t a playoff team. We will get swept in NY too and I think that will return us to .500. They just aren’t good enough in any facet of the game
