    On OUR staff he is the ace. I doubt many other teams would look at a guy with an ERA of nearly 4 (3.97) as ace material.

    Most prognostications I saw here were in the 90+ win area about two months ago.

    Actually, I am proud for foreseeing the future of this team months ago. While others were mostly irrationally optimistic I saw a team that was going nowhere for many reasons: SPing, not being ready to start the season, playing brain dead baseball too often, managerial mistakes...etc. I am proud of being a realist and seeing that my assessment of this team was correct.

    If his ERA was just 4.30 I could live with his contract. But its nearly 6 this year. I am not going to miss him.

    We are right on course for 86 wins despite our crappy rotation. Despite that fact the pen has been OK and the offense has been pretty good. I don't think I will be off by more than a game or two at the most.

    Moreland has all he can do just to try to make contact. Hopefully we can get rid of him next year too.

    Like I wrote earlier, Porcello is a s*** pitcher, but he makes up for it in quantity.

    Rick the Dick is in form I see....horrible. We will be down five runs before you can blink an eye. I am not going to miss Porcello next year.

    And Beeks, who sucks, is pitching the nightcap for the Rays. The Orioles could sweep the DH.

    Rays lose....but it won't matter. 86 wins is what I predicted months ago. I am sticking with it. Had the team not had such an awful start we would be right there where we want to be.

    Apparently Hernandez did well against LHP in AAA ball. I can't remember his numbers, but I read it somewhere. We all know what JBJ can do-unfortunately.

    Meh....either Barnes OR Workman will blow this one. Its not totally their fault. They have had their asses kicked by lack of SPing.
