Rafaela has a lot of work to do to become a major league hitter.

There’s absolutely no reason that the team can’t have players who can not only hit (or pitch) and be at least decent in the field. After declaring “full throttle” they added stiffs like Sims, Garcia, and Jansen. A little honesty on the part of ownership would have been nice.

I think there’s a good chance he’ll mature into at least a decent hitter. Bradley never did. And Rafaela is a great defender at two positions. You still have to hit. I’d give him a couple of years.
