  1. The only question is whether or not the FLOPS will score a run. The game was over after the first pitch.
  2. Why is he still on the roster?? Give someone else-anyone-else a chance. No one could do worse.
  3. He made an out He’s useless-but he has a lot of company
  4. They really have to tear it all down from the owner to Breslow to Cora to Wong-all of it.
  5. The disgusting FLOPS continue to swing at balls a foot outside the zone
  6. It would have been nice to be able to at least watch a competitive game
  7. It’s Crochet and a prayer this year. But just wait till next year-right? Or the year after….or the year after that…..or whenever
  8. I don’t know what happened to Wong. He was decent a while ago. Now he’s useless
  9. Wong should be DFA’d. Give someone else a chance-anyone.
  10. As I wrote earlier after these next few series the FLOPS will reveal again their identity. They suck
  11. Way to start the second half. Toro with an idiotic baserunning mistake. Narvaez striking out like he’s never swung a bat then committing interference. At least Giolito looked passable. Gonna need to win five of the next 8 to stand any chance of making the playoffs.
  12. Here’s what I think: if you want to compete for a ring you don’t compare your players to the average player at the position: you compare him to the best. If you have a group of average players you won’t be competitive for a ring. That doesn’t mean every player on your team has to be above average. If Rafaela flops and is the only black hole that’s fine
  13. You need pitching and defense-but you also need to be able to score runs. A team can afford a black hole or two but probably not many more if they want to compete for a ring.
  14. Thanks Then in that case I could handle Rafaela batting at the ML average as long as the rest of the team’s starters bat above average. You don’t win rings with an average offensive team.
  15. Not good enough for my liking. Not unless he’s the only one who is useless with a bat in his hands. You can’t win with a team batting.660 OPS. And I believe the average MLB OPS is a bit higher than .720-closer to .750.
  16. I could accept an OPS in the .775 range because of his other talents. Whats the lowest acceptable OPS you would consider without thinking he’s not contributing enough?
  17. Yup We’ll see. Let’s hope that he doesn’t fall back into old bad habits when all is said and done.
