    I follow all the Boston sports teams. This Celtics team set all time records for offensive efficiency.

    Meh Watching the Celtics. ItsTHE FINALS! Did check the score though and thought I’d drop in. I know you all miss me.

    I’m not. Not anymore. Thought I’d tune in the game to see if the bums could at least make it competitive. Took two innings for the outcome to be decided. But by all means keep watching until you can’t vomit anymore.

    This team is impossible to watch. Been that way for years.

    The only smart signing in that group is Devers. Bogaerts>Story. Yoshida was a horrible signing. Gotta spend the money but you also have to evaluate talent. They have failed on both counts lately.

    Like I said there’s no way to keep all of the good players who departed. And I would have liked to see them build the team around Betts and Bogaert. They were expensive for sure but I think you need a couple of excellent players to complement a bunch of good players to compete. Who exactly has Henry opened up his wallet for over the past 3-4 years? I can’t remember a single high priced talent he has paid. He has been very successful in reducing payroll but putting out a competitive team, not so much.

    They couldn’t keep all of them. We should have kept Betts and Bogey and built around them. We use to be a higher payroll team. Now we are middle third. Henry has reduced payroll to the detriment of the product on the field-as well as hiring Bloom who did little to improve the franchise.

    Bogaerts has a career ops of over .800. We let him get away. Henry was too cheap to pay Schwarber or Betts. These are examples of why we have stiffs playing for the team now.

    Dalbec sucks. Like you wrote he can’t hit. Isn’t that sort of required at the mlb level unless you’re a stud in the field and you’re surrounded by excellent hitters?

    It’s not Cora. This full throttle team is simply bad. One of the worst Sox teams I have ever seen-and I’ve seen a lot of them. While somehow they are at .500 now they will end up much worse. Another season to hold your nose.

    They’re a last place caliber team. They haven’t yet entered the dungeon but they will soon. Right now they are a mediocre team at .500 (and there’s nothing worse than being a mediocre team) but the truth is that AGAIN they are a bad team. It’s getting old.

    Difficult team to watch again this year. But hey-full throttle, right? And Henry just said he has no intention of selling the team.

    I expect them to COMPETE every year. This crap that has now gone on for the last six of seven years is why fans aren't showing up at the park any more. The ownership, having declared that they are going "full throttle" (bet they regret saying THAT) has done NOTHNG to produce a competitive team. Today's game, antoher loss to the worst team in baseball besides the FLOPS, is a prime example. Henry needs to sell the team or get his home egged.

    "We're going FULL THROTTLE". In reverse. This team by mid summer is going to be totally unwatchable. They aren't yet in last place but thats coming soon.

    The B’s are going nowhere. Last year was the year for them and they blew it. This is the year of the Celtics. Barring injury the are the favorites to win a ring. As for this baseball team take down the date. It could well be the last time we’re over .500.

    They’re certainly playing like they want to lose. But so is Florida. They’re down 2-0 to Toronto.
