  1. Not a bad way for Sale's night to end. Struggled early and left some big pitches out & over the plate in which he paid for. He recovered and regained control having Blue Jays hitters looking a big confused. The best part is the offense put up 5 runs so Sale got some good support tonight.
  2. Yep his change has been his go-to pitch tonight. The good news is Sale has done a better job of not only changing the hitter's eye level but he's done a better job of working outside to inside.
  3. Better job of painting the outside corner. Not much Pillar could do with that pitch other than pop it up or K looking.
  4. Devers is missing pitches he normally hits a mile.
  5. OMG this guy behind the plate is terrible!!
  6. Man, the strikezone for Sale is a lot different from the one Estrada has been getting all game.
  7. Sale needs a clean inning like something fierce.
  8. LOL...yeah that is no doubt a possibility. Thank god Beni didn't make that mistake.
  9. Agree! He literally just flicked his wrists at the ball and drove it out. I don't care what park you hit in, that is some special stuff we're seeing from Martinez.
  10. DAMN!!!! Thank you JD Martinez!!! Beni really can't get thrown out our picked off this time.
  11. Wow, Beni with a surprisingly good read on getting 1st to 3rd. Gotta make it count now.
  12. I wonder which base Beni will get picked off of this time around.
  13. And the floating strikezone continues to expand against Red Sox hitters.
  14. Sale's fastball has little to no tail and his slider is a batting practice pitch that just sits up on a tee for the hitters. A fastball with no movement is pretty damn easy to barrel up. The same goes with his slider. Those pitches aren't fooling anyone right now.
  15. He hasn't been very good at all of late. It almost looks like the Red Sox lineup has gone back to Farrell's offensive philosophy of running up pitch counts as now they are fighting tooth & nail to scratch a single run across the plate. This is not the same aggressive team we saw a week ago....at all.
  16. The ump took the bat right out of Vazquez's hands with the horrible strike 2 call.
  17. I can definitely live with Devers sac fly. At least it was a productive out. I wonder if Beni saw what tagging up looks like.
  18. Devers has been swinging at everything under the sun and he's been missing damn near everything he's been swinging at. This kid needs to relax and quit forcing things to happen. Take what the pitcher gives you.
  19. Atta Boy Nunez! Keep the line moving.
  20. What's bad is Estrada has isn't overpowering at all.
  21. A base hit to start the inning. Please make something happen.
  22. Unbelievable....Beni is running out of excuses on baserunning miscues. That last one was just plain bad. It makes you go back and question his logic from not tagging up last night when he could've scored easily on the flyball to deep RF.
  23. Manaea threw a terrific game last night and was most deserving of his accomplishment. Today is a new day and I do think the Red Sox finish this series off with a win.
  24. I'm anxious to see how the Red Sox respond after last night. Needless to say, I'm very much looking forward to today's game.
