    On May 31 I have to have surgery on my lower back to have part of a disk removed and the rest of the disk reset so when the Red Sox aren't playing, it will be baseball central everyday all day. I'm gonna make being on the shelf for a while worth it.

    The Yankees seem to be taking care of business today just fine. A nice little offensive outburst for them as well.

    Around 130 games give or take a few. I live in Kansas and got so damn tired of missing a massive amount of live games year in and year out that I finally purchased MLB.TV and I haven't been disappointed. So far I've missed 1 game and like last night, the night before, the night before that.....I plan on tuning in tonight. Coaching high school softball, I have pulled a sneak attack and have been guilty of watching parts of live games in our dugout while our defense was in the field.

    Lin is just killing it today!! Another great AB and it pays off again. The bad break was the ball hopping up in the stands for a ground rule double. If that ball hits stays in play the 2nd run comes around to score. Either way it was great to see.

    If someone were to tell me Martinez would score on a ball that didn't bounce all that far from the catcher I would've laughed. To JD's credit he got a damn good read. Once he decided to go he didn't hesitate which is the reason he scored. Well executed!

    Yeah I don't have an issue with that either especially when the weather is as crappy has it is now. Tomorrow will be even worse and my feelings won't be hurt if tomorrow's game is postponed....and I think it will be.

    Getting the day off. I thought I heard O'Brien say that Cora was giving Nunez today off and possibly tomorrow off before heading out west. Keep in mind Cora is keeping Mookie out today and possibly tomorrow to give his foot a bit more rest.

    No doubt can't complain with those kind of outs. Bundy should be thanking his lucky stars now because Red Sox hitters are really starting to hit balls hard unlike the first few innings.

    Now the Red Sox are getting some good cuts in on Bundy. A lot of hits are getting squared up.

    Beni knows what to do with an inside pitch! He turned on that ball in a hurry and his speed ended up being a bigger factor in the end.
