  1. Tillman leaves and the Red Sox still scored after just 1 pitch from the O's bullpen.
  2. Jesus.....Tillman has been terrible!! Too bad Buck is pulling him.
  3. I absolutely love Pedey's approach at the plate! If you are hitting in the leadoff spot or 2nd in the lineup, you are going to get some good pitches to hit early so why not ambush the pitcher early on? Pedey is just a smart overall baseball player. The day he retires or the day he is no longer on a Red Sox uniform will be a sad day.
  4. I agree. The way JD hits the ball to the opposite field with power, you bet he's going to rake at Yankee Stadium. Once it really starts to warm up outside, a lot of those opposite field shots Martinez is hitting deep to CF and Right-CF will start leaving the yard more consistently.
  5. The Red Sox hitting approach needed to change badly. So far it's been a dramatic difference and in the best way possible. The last couple of seasons the Red Sox didn't buckle down to hit until they were down 0-2 or 1-2 in the count. It's pretty tough as an opposing pitcher to make a mistake when they are up 0-2 or 1-2 in the count. This is a much more aggressive Red Sox lineup.
  6. Even Martinez's outs are loud.
  7. I think everybody thought Moreland swung (including Moreland) with the exception of the 3B umpire. Good call.
  8. I'm more of a chicken fettuccine fan myself when eating at Olive Garden.
  9. My god Mookie smoked that ball. There was a damn vapor trail coming off of it as it shot toward the Monster!
  10. Nice job Lin! Found himself down 0-2 and doubled on a protection swing.
  11. A quick & painless inning for E-Rod
  12. I'm certainly enjoying Tillman's outing!
  13. Eck was spot on too. Tillman isn't lasting long tonight.
  14. Atta Boy Nunez!!! Thanks Tillman!
  15. When Tillman isn't missing the strike zone, he's basically throwing batting practice.
  16. Sac fly for JD....I'll take it.
  17. By accident Martinez flirted with bending one around Pesky Pole.
  18. When Tillman has missed, he's missed by a lot.
  19. Betts draws a leadoff walk...nice.
  20. I like where E-Rod is at in terms of coming off of injury and rehab. He didn't look too bad in his 1st start. What hurt him was his inability to finish off hitters but I also didn't expect him to dominate either. Hopefully he takes another step in the right direction.
  21. Mitch smoked that ball! Bye bye Sonny!
  22. Another sharp inning from Porcello.
