Terrific throw by Mazara but a horrible decision by Leon to even consider testing Mazara. Bad base running is an epidemic anymore.

Miller is on the DL and their bullpen has been worked overtime severely.

The Guardians have officially blown the lead. Back to back doubles by the Yankees have tied the game at 4. Walker on 2B with 0 outs. The Yanks are going to pull this out.

Yeah I think you are right about the dead arm. That not only hurts where you get his but it goes all the way down your arm and last for a while.

True. It wasn't quite as much as his velocity being down a bit as it was he wasn't locating particularly well and his breaking stuff was just hanging up begging to be hit hard.

Hopefully once the weather starts getting warmer we'll see the velocity on Sale's fastball find the consistency in the mid to high 90's like we're used to seeing.

It really was a huge blessing the throw to home was well offline. I had a chance to see Martinez round 3B and by the look of it Febles has no intentions of holding JD at 3B. Fortunate as hell but I'll take it.

Goodness, Xander is a completely different hitter this season. He's not content to punch the ball the other way. He's pulling the ball with authority and has been a beast.

Yes he can! He's squaring everything up and finding every gap there is.

Their bullpen is taxed beyond belief and since Miller went on the DL, they have struggled like something fierce. It makes it worse when a closer like Cody Allen is running on fumes as well. The Guardians look like a tired team in general.

Meanwhile back in the Bronx, Cody Allen is getting ready to blow a 4-0 Guardians lead in the bottom of the 8th. Now 4-3 Guardians lead.
