My guess is he jammed his wrist when he started to slide into 2B. Although is happened fast, its uncomfortable when it happens and it lingers around for a bit. Hopefully that's it.
This is the first time this season Sale has looked this comfortable. The ball is flying out of his hands free and easy. It helps when you live low and paint corners.
Apparently Devers doesn't know how to field a ground ball. There's a difference between getting handcuffed and not turning your glove to backhand the ball.
Great throw by Devers but just not in time. What I'm really worried about isn't as much Pomeranz (although he's struggled since coming back off the DL) but the Red Sox offense in general.
Living in Kansas, I'm stuck watching this game through the Fox Sports KC broadcast team. Rex Hudler is absolutely dreadful to listen to....OMG he's horrible.
