    This team had a lot of great come-from-behind victories. The fact that we had to come from behind so often was not a good sign, of course. Our run differential is down to a paltry +34.

    Cora didn't start shuffling the lineup until things went south. He moved Verdugo down because the guy was in a 3-month slump. We brought up Duran and Cora has tried him in different spots. None of the changes he made were radical ones.

    Richards and Perez have been unbelievably bad since the crackdown. You almost have to give Richards credit for admitting he was f***ed without the stickum.

    I don't think anyone is saying the other teams mortgaged their future. It's more like we just didn't have the goods prospect-wise. Hard to figure that we couldn't at least get a quality reliever, though.

    I try to get my bitterness out in the morning... When I say it may be a memorably bad day I'm not talking about Robles and Davis, but about how we stood still and other teams made moves and what's happened in the standings.

    Getting Robles and Davis was more of an insult than anything. I'm afraid Trade Deadline Day 2021 is going to go down as one of those memorably bad days in franchise history.
