  1. $340 million for a kid who gets in motorbike accidents and uses PED's, accidentally or not.
  2. Feels strange to say, but it seems like they played it smart.
  3. I hope not, that's about all I can say. Preller is scolding him in the media, which is unusual. Tatis has a lot of work to do now.
  4. No quitters here.
  5. They could easily finish second in the division. Seems like the kid catcher has really given them a boost.
  6. The percentages are obviously fair, but they can change a lot in a week.
  7. There are no quitters here. If they were quitters, they wouldn't be here, they'd be gone.
  8. $325 M for Devers $175 M for Bogey Man, those numbers look oddly familiar...
  9. I watch sports with the sound off much more often than not now anyway.
  10. Montgomery with 2 wins and 11 scoreless to start his Cardinals career. Questionable, Brian.
  11. Barnes and Brasier come through again!
  12. I guess O'Brien is the classic case of a man made for radio and not TV.
  13. Normally it wouldn't be, but it's only 2 months.
  14. Why? Why? Why?
  15. Disagree. 2021 was Dalbec's first full season. He had an OPS of .792, 25 HR and 78 RBI in 133 games. And he's still making minimum wage. I don't really see ripping Bloom because he thought that was good value.
  16. I don't know if the Yankees think that way anymore. The Astros, Rays and Jays might be bigger concerns.
  17. I never count out the Yankees, but they've got Judge to deal with.
  18. Killebrew was a great one.
  19. Correa is also almost certain to opt out and hit the market again.
  20. I think we're all in the same neighborhood on Bogey. I think 7/175 or 7/185 should be the ceiling.
  21. I'm about 95% in agreement.
  22. McGuire is still just getting a handle on things, you know that...
  23. No kidding. That was rather insane. Mind you Seager is a really good player and has bounced back from a bad start.
  24. It's a cool 8.18 in 4 games. Excuses/explanations: small sample size, adjustment period etc. etc.
  25. I prefer to think the GM's or HOBO's do not pay extra chunks of money just for the fun of it. But there are probably some cases where they are so anxious to land the player that they throw in some more money to get it done.
