    But we're middle of the pack in actual 2023 payroll, which is the first time this has happened under Henry. And they let go of Bogaerts and Eovaldi's salaries, of course. It's misleading if you don't factor in the subtractions. All depends on how you look at it, right?

    Right now Bloom's failure to upgrade the rotation really looks like a criminal offense. He actually thought Kluber was going to be the answer. More of Corey tonight.

    But last year's Orioles were 21-30 at the end of May and went 62-49 the rest of the way. They started getting better around the same time Rutschman joined the team.

    I looked it up, and since MLB went to 6 divisions in 1994, no team has ever finished last and above .500. The 2005 Nationals did finish last with a .500 record.
