    If we are .500 in Pivetta's starts, that's a good thing. His record with the Sox is indeed 22-22.

    Since that first start, in 20.1 IP, Crawford has a nifty K/BB of 18/0. Honestly didn't know he was capable of being that good.

    They did also sign those extensions with Sale and Bogey. You could tell JH was putting on the clampers a bit because of the tax situation, since DD didn't replace Kimbrel or Kelly.

    I don't disagree with you. At the same time, I don't think it's really fair to dismiss the Devers extension as "something they had to do". Have to give them credit for doing the right thing there.

    The Sox did win series against Minnesota and Milwaukee. And we're 3-3 vs. Baltimore. So it hasn't been all weak sisters we've beaten.
