    JBJ's price does depend a lot on his offensive numbers. If he gets back to being an .800 OPS guy, he becomes very expensive indeed.

    Zimmer had the reins of what was arguably the best Red Sox team of all time, the 1978 team. In a way he was incredibly unlucky that season turned out the way it did. But he had a hand in it by burying Lee that year, among other things.

    It was a great move. Martinez seems like a nice, quiet guy who is all about his craft as a hitter. A beautiful piece to the puzzle indeed.

    Hembree has been excellent so far in spite of a couple of rough outings. He has 13 K's and only 1 BB, and a .91 WHIP.
