    Children should be able to legally re-name themselves as early as possible, seriously. Pro golfer Jason Day and his wife just had their third child, a son, and named him Arrow.

    Some of those ads are sort of funny, though in an icky way. Like the one where dad tosses the car keys to son and tells him to take his good old time, with mom grinning in the background.

    We don't exactly NEED him, specifically, but he could be a very nice acquisition, that's for sure. It would also be a nice little box office move for the fans. You know that if you polled Red Sox fans right now about 95% would say 'hell yes' to signing him.

    But we didn't know that for quite a while, and perhaps DD himself didn't either. He doesn't have a crystal ball. I think signing Moreland gave him some security in that area so he could move on. He wasn't interested in dicking around with guys like LoMo and Duda. That's what he's like.

    Apparently I'm the only one who thought this one was funny. Maybe it was because I was actually watching the game and I thought I was seeing things when I saw PONCE DE LEON on the back of his jersey.

    For a long while I looked at it that Ben basically traded Lester for Porcello, and I wasn't happy about it. It's taken me a long time to warm up to Porcello. But in 2018 he showed us a lot in every way, and he became part of Red Sox history. So it's time to say it... Thanks Ben!
