    I love Joe Montana too, he's probably my favorite player ever. But I think Brady's record now surpasses his. Especially the 9 Super Bowl appearances to Joe's 4. Their 'counting numbers' aren't really close.

    Rosenthal is reporting that the owners and union are already discussing a number of the issues pertaining to cancellation of the season, and service time is one of the issues. So they're going to have to hammer out some sort of agreement.

    Yes, I am proposing that the skills and the mind are part of the package, not just the pure physical attributes of strength and speed. That's also why Gretzky is on the list. He was not a great 'pure athlete', but his skills and mind for the game of hockey made him super-human at it.

    Brady may not be a great 'pure athlete', but he's a great athletic performer. And surely the ability to throw a football on a dime again and again with the game on the line and 300-pound behemoths bearing down on you is a significant athletic feat.
