  1. Pizza's vegetarian, ice cream's vegetarian. He eats a year's supply of those two things on a daily basis. He single-handedly keeps Dairy Queen and Papa John's in business.
  2. Fat Vegetarians. Get your s*** straight.
  3. ....or nail Prince Fielder with a pick-off throw.
  4. It's like the wall's playing Crawford instead of Crawford playing the wall.
  5. Someone needs to charge Porcello.
  6. Being fat and having a strong core are not mutually exclusive. And lower back spasms can happen for a variety of reasons, not just core problems.
  7. Prince Fielder? Lance Berkman? CC Sabathia?
  8. The problem with your analysis BTR, is that you're creating a "best case scenario" analysis. In order for it to be more accurate, you would need to eliminate his three best outings along with his three worst.
  9. The Red Sox absolutely and completely own Rick Porcello: For his career he sports a 10.80 ERA and 2.16 WHIP against the Red Sox, who are hitting an absurd .395/.452/.684 1.137 OPS line against him.
  10. The Sox had both. They just didn't give Milwood a chance.
  11. Why would we catch the White Sox, who occupy first place in their division?
  12. And for the record, over his last 25 games, Gonzalez is hitting .372/.385/.543 .928 OPS. That's the magic of small samples.
  13. Anthony Rizzo has played a grand total of 29 games this year. Let's wait a little before we appoint him the second coming of Ted Williams. Don't get me wrong, i don't doubt his ability, but comparing him to Gonzalez (down season and all) right now is just silly.
  14. Forget about what the other teams are doing and keep winning. That's the only factor still in the Red Sox' control.
  15. And who says Cherington has the authority or even the desire to sell? I don't understand why people continue to try to analyze Cherington's thought process as if they had any idea what he's thinking or his plans are.
  16. Because he's sucked the last couple years.
  17. It seems you do, since you're defending SP like someone insulted your mother. And let me tell you, you can make your points and let your opinions be known without being an insufferable douche. Maybe you should try that.
  18. You're missing the point. People can do whatever they want. If some don't like going to SP for info and prefer other sources, it's their prerogative and shouldn't be a big deal. What's foolish is trying to convince people of exactly what should be their preferred source of information. If you like SP, fine. If you don't, fine too.
