    The Red Sox are facing Samuel Deduno (3.13 ERA, 1.56 WHIP) for the first time. The Sox are hitting pitchers with a statistical profile similar to Deduno's (power/groundball pitcher, per BB-ref) to the tune of a .750 OPS.     What i mean is that focus on the bigger picture can be lost if you're too worried chasing the division. They need to play with a sense of urgency right now, since they're out of a playoff spot. No need for the obvious sarcasm.
