  1. He's played a handful of games. Your conclusions about Castillo are about twice as laughable about the superstar talk.
  2. Trading for Cole Hamels is a terrible idea, one which I'm not surprised you're the person advocating for it the most, so you can whine about it when it backfires terribly.
  3. I'll say it until I am blue in the face: 50% of this team's problems lie with the coaching staff. Why the hell is Pedey the one finding mechanical flaws with our hitters? Why are they trying to change Porcello's approach mid-season? Why doesn't this team employ any sort of on-field strategy other than shifting? Why is Sandoval so fat? All pertinent questions that tie in directly with this team's poor record thus far.
  4. This coaching staff is terrible, and that's on Cherington. Too many offensive players underperforming and too many boneheaded running gaffes. Also, too many GIDPs in situations where it could be avoided with some strategy while Farrell rocks back and forth like a jackass.
  5. I need to move a C, 1B, 3B or CL.
  6. Robinson Chirinos is in-his-prime Pujols against this team. This team blows.
  7. That 5th run looking huge right now.
  8. The Red Sox coaching seems to have no idea what they're doing. I'm an optimist, but I call a spade a spade.
  9. There seems to essentially have been a rotation-in-waiting for this team at AA/AAA at the beginning of this season.
  10. Hanley credits video session with Pedroia for return of power Fire Chili and Farrell, Pedroia for player/manager/hitting coach/pitching coach
  11. They both need some PMS medication.
  12. He's a lefty that can consistently hit the mid-90's. That qualifies as electric.
  13. Aaaaand he confirms what Pete's saying in the very next post.
  14. I disagree, with how they've pitched since early May, the Sox should be at least a .500 team. They haven't climbed the standings because you can't win consistently scoring an average of two runs a game.
  15. The general consensus (from people who can see the bigger picture anyways) is that the rotation this team started the season with was not going to be the same one that started the final week of September, barring a miracle. This team was constructed to mash and then reinforce the pitching, as has been said here ad-nauseum. The real problem is that they're not mashing.
  16. So a game in which the Sox pitched well AND scored some runs? Blessed we are!
  17. YAZMAN SIGHTING boys!
  18. Peguero on base? Victory is assured!
