  1. I think some fans will boo because of his lack of productivity this year and then going to Chicago and turning it on.
  2. I'm going to send you photoshopped nudes of a wetter-than-ever Vicente Padilla.
  3. Drop it to 0! Secrets make me paranoid
  4. That was the plan at the beginning of the season. Nava, Pods, Lillibridge, McDonald, Gonzo should have never gotten significant time in the OF this year, and a couple of them shouldn't have even played for the Sox.
  5. Agreed. I'm excited about the the lineup that Bobby V throws out there. I hope CC is near the top of the lineup and not floundering in 7th the rest of the year.
  6. What do you think of taking back Soriano from the Cubs (they can pay a good chunk of his salary) in that potential Garza deal and letting Ortiz walk this offseason? We could have a solid replacement DH for a lot less.
  7. If there was a chance both sides agreed, I'd do all 3 in a heartbeat. Chicago and Arizona would both ask for a lot more though. I think Philly would consider that deal, as Victorino seems to be available.
  8. He won't hurt the elbow any more by using it, the ligament already needs to be replaced. What he is doing is cutting into his rehab time. He's going to end up getting the surgery mid-late October and missing the first month or two of 2013.
  9. Half right.. Dunn was a no-brainer. Although, he is on pace for a .208 BA and 250 K's, so it's not the runaway I thought it was.
  10. I agree with everything you said, but my list would be Ross, Ortiz, Sweeney, Salty, Aviles, Beckett. We could infuse the team with youth, which almost always creates excitement and also try to go out and get a true ace. Even with moving all those players, we're still in good shape to make a run for the WC once we get some of our players off the DL.
  11. Salty a B? When I think adequate, I think C.
  12. Pitchers take 12-18 months. Hitters on average, recover in about 6 months. If he has the surgery now, there's no reason he shouldn't be 100% by Jan-Feb.
  13. I stand corrected then. I overlooked Bradley's initial surgery. Still, I think Boston's medical staff is mostly to blame in Crawford's case.
  14. I can't place this all on Crawford. He sounds like he actually wants to play. I blame our medical staff for telling him a little r&r would heal him. He needs to go under the knife either today or the day the season ends. Doing it Oct 10 gives him around 5 months until Spring Training. There should be no reason he misses time NEXT season because of an issue found before THIS season. This reminds me a bit of Celtics G Avery Bradley. He just went in for surgery and will miss the start of the season. Why didn't he opt for surgery a month ago when the season ended?
  15. Only 4 of those top 13 players could have played if they wanted. That's where the problems with this team arise. So much wasted money
  16. Speaking of the sniffles.. Jordan's flu game is on NBA tv right now
  17. That looks like a Oakland A's type lineup. Full of trash and other teams unwanted players
