    Where Richard's was throwing to Biggio, the walk might have been a bargain.

    Given Richard's appears to be something of a cracked dome player on top of his other attributes, if the first batter of the top of the 3rd inning didn't bail him out there is every chance he would have just detonated right out there on the mound.

    What is up with this guy Richards. Perhaps he should throw 3 innings worth of pitches in the pen before starts and just take as many innings as you can get out of him in the game. He just cannot seem to throw worth s*** in he first couple of innings of games and now his concentration seems suspect.
