    I think Clark's comments take a longer view than that. Frankly I agree with those that suggest that Mookie's departure was not a 2020 phenomenon. This was really a done deal long before it was consummated in an actual deal between the Dodgers and the Sox. That is the context for Clark's comments IMO.

    Tony Clark (MLBPA) commenting that there is no reason for Mookie not to still be in Boston and if the CBT was the genesis of this trade then we really need to look at our CBA. I actually think that comment makes some sense.

    So now that I have figured out that its other networks that have the next batch of Sox ST games I can resume my duties until forum convention knocks me out. Next televised game from what I can figure is the coming weekend. Anybody that has it different, please post something so I don't screw it up.

    The media spin here has been that MLB went back in to re-interview certain Sox players and other parties. That is not encouraging. That is the sort of thing that happens when interviews taken later in the process uncovers more evidence requiring that investigators go back and re-interview. Then again, in Manfred-World, there is no telling what they could be doing.

    Just by eye....looks like skinny to average beni, not fat beni. Rusney looks disgusting. He has gained tonnage and has learned NOTHING in 6 years of playing minor league ball. I would bet we have Boston Bruins that know more about playing baseball than Rusney does.

    Sox try to make it 3 ST games in a row. 1:00PM start again. NESN has the game though others might be carrying it as well.

    We really need to trade Chavis before he really gets exposed AGAIN. Just too many holes in his swing.

    There is a very legitimate concern about the popularity of baseball going forward. The Sox have managed to stem the tide here in Boston through a variety of means which may just be running out of gas in the face of the shrinking popularity of MLB generally. I have no idea what MLB generally or any specific franchise will do once my generation really starts pushing up daisies in earnest. Frankly IMO what MLB thinks is worth pursuing directionally within the game itself in the form of Rob "the idiot" Manfred is not the direction they should be taking and will simply fail....IS in fact failing.

    Now do folks understand the disaster of Rob Manfred at the head of MLB. Comment from Manford regarding the question of taking the 2017 WS trophy from the Astros: The world series trophy is "just a piece of metal". OK Rob...do us favor....get the f*** out a' town you flaming jerkoff with your screwed up marketing, your juiced up baseballs, your screwed up rules and idiot replay. GET OUT.....We need a commissioner that actually knows something about this game and cares about it.

    i saw that stretch. His throwing did not match what he did in the playoffs. I like stats if I can't see the player play. If I can see the player play, that is what I trust.

    Even Kelly's hot stretches did not match what he did in the 2018 post season. The combination of velo and movement he showed in that post season is something I had not seen before that post season nor since.

    I suspect Kelly's 2018 post season performance was the one off of one offs. He always had velo but no real movement on his FB. He was throwing FB's with velo and late break and his breaking stuff was the best I have seen it. Don't know what he did. However if somebody told me there was something fishy going on there, I would be inclined to believe it.
