  1. Well that was a better AB from Beni. But he was out as he was walking up to the plate.
  2. Well top of the 4th should be interesting. Beni might have to bunt his way on if his first AB was any indication.
  3. That might be the best three innings of pitching I have seen from Happ for his career.
  4. Happ in unhittable at the moment. The LH hitters have no idea what he is throwing or where it is going. He is painting to the RHer's.
  5. What is this lineup tonight? I do not like seeing Sandy bat RH against a guy like Happ. I would much prefer Vaz batting against Happ.
  6. Earth to Red Sox...time to wake up please. This is such a weak infield defense tonight we might have to endure a whole bunch of this. Gonna' have to hit our way to a win tonight I think.
  7. Toronto has done absolutely nothing here with the exception of a successful play and has a run, two and and still no outs. Correction, one out now and two on.
  8. For God sake, I hate giving up a walk on a pitch that was in the zone
  9. I like the pitch Mookie got. Anybody pitching him in there has thrown him a mistake and he might never see a pitch that good to hit again the whole night. I am not sure Beni even saw the pitches he got. I always like Hanley a little deeper into an AB. I just think while he is not a great two strike hitter, he is a better hitter after he sees something from the pitcher. So I really don't like seeing Hanley swing at an 0-0 unless he gets an absolute meatball. The pitch he got was not a Hanley meatball.
  10. Well Betts got a great pitch to hit. Just missed it.
  11. Even Price deserved better than that
  12. Lowry...OK maybe. But Davis is THE HR threat on this team. RH hitter, tiring LH pitcher. What is that???? Davis was just licking his chops. Swinging from the on deck circle.
  13. I could not even get the post up. Davis was the guy I really worried about this late in the game and that is why. If Cora insisted on letting price pitch to lowry I could swallow that...but not Davis.
  14. Lowry bailed price out of the count with that 1-0 swing
  15. Its like he goes to the plate saying "go ahead, just throw it".
  16. Come on ump. Now you are going to squeeze price
  17. Oh how did you miss that JBJ
  18. This place is just screwy. Never see as many fouls balls landing uncaught anywhere else.
  19. Gomes never knows the count.
  20. Time for Devers to do something here. He has looked horrid against this breaking stuff
  21. Last night Manaea was finally giving up some good pitches to hit early in the count by about the start of the 7th inning. By then we were so frustrated, we couldn't do anything with them and guys were making out AS they were walking up to the plate. Eventually we should get something to hit from this guy. Hopefully we will do more with it today.
  22. Plus what the A's pitchers have done the last two games is not exactly easy. So many starters throw Get me over 0-0 pitches because their permanent state of being on the mound is behind in the count. Not real impressed with the starting pitching around the league. We are fortunate to have the starters we have.
  23. Price has not given up much so far today. Their pitchers seem to have our number. Not giving us anything really juicy to hit early in counts and putting us away late in counts. Throwing the Sox "get me over" 0-0 pitches trying to get ahead in the count seems to be a fast way to an early grave for pitchers. These last two games we have gotten just the opposite.
  24. Price takes so long between pitches you would think he was giving birth to the pitch.
