Didn't act like a cutter. Acted more like a rolling slider. But I have not seen him throw that much even last year.

If that is tanaka's slider tonight he is going to have trouble. That thing just rolled up to the plate.

If price was close to the plate with his pitches I would be more inclined to believe he was just struggling tonight. But he was not close. Pitches in the zone were wild in the zone. Not sure he threw more than two good pitches the entire inning and he through a lot of pitches

Don't understand why JD is actually in the lineup tonight. If they want to get Moreland's bat in for Tanaka then put Beni in LF and Ramirez at DH. If Tanaka is on JD could be sombrero material the way he is going. At least we would not have to suffer with JD in LF.

Of course one fly in the ointment of my hoped for JD breakout is that if Tanaka is on his game tonight he is just the sort of pitcher that could give JD fits.

Again Martinez simply cannot get on these off speed pitches. You just can't miss a changeup thrown that badly.

I will leave it alone after this last comment because it is just too easy to pick them apart. But what will really drive you nuts is that while they are going ten minutes without even touching the game right in front of them, the ESPN production crew will have the cameras ON THEM!!!!!! Who cares what is going on down on the field?????

It gets worse. They can go a good ten minutes without touching the actual baseball game going on right in front of them. Seen some bad announce teams in my life but ESPN puts three people together and no matter who they are they immediately become impossible.
