  1. What a week for Josh Donaldson. He was hitting homers like it's his job (oh wait, it is his job). He finished with 11 R, 11 RBI, and 31 TB. My man. I've loved him since the 2013 season when he broke out. In other news, I may have gotten my closer situation down. I picked up Tolleson from Texas and with Doolittle back on the DL, I know I can stick with Tyler Clippard. I'm also psyched to see Lucroy come off the DL tomorrow, but I had to drop Neil Walker to make room.
  2. Interesting game so far. We scored first. Time to party like it's 2004!
  3. You've seemed to forgotten about Rodney.
  4. We have. Games 3, 4, and 5 of the season. Last one vs Philly, and first 2 against Yanks.
  5. Most people my age wouldn't get your pitching matchup puns, but I do. With that being said, they're still terrible. Why do all you old farts have to be so old-school? I could find things that are more modern in 1770s Philadelphia.
  6. Indeed. As for me, I've just been busy recently, and will continue to be until school gets out on the 18th. I'll be around tonight, right after I get home from the White Sox - Orioles game... Umpiring, in my hometown.
  7. I see. You're the reason why he didn't give my fantasy a much needed QS.
  8. On a side note, I thought Peguero did pretty well last night. About what I would expect from him on a good day.
  9. Please, if anything, call me Reynolds Wolf. He's my favorite meteorologist on The Weather Channel.
  10. If this game goes long, we may see a thunderstorm. That won't happen though. WIN!!! (In 9 innings)
  11. I'm willing to trade Cespedes for a pitcher, preferably a closer.
  12. Alright, so we got beat. It wasn't a blowout, but it was a solid defeat. That was almost kind of expected. The Twins have a good team that is guaranteed to play hard everyday. I'm taking things series by series right now, and have been for almost the whole season. And I figured that when we lose the first game of a series, we tend to do pretty well in the series. Just last weekend. On Friday, we got our asses handed to us, but rebounded and played beautifully on Saturday, and looked real good yesterday. We can't win them all, and we can't be consistent in them all. They'll be tough losses like the one today, but we beat a good team in 2 out of 3 over the weekend. Clay's going tomorrow, and he pitched pretty well last time out against a Ranger team that is on fire. Mike Pelfrey is going for Minnesota, who has a decent ERA, but we've handled good pitchers this season. No reason to worry. We still have momentum from Saturday and Sunday.
  13. Last year on Memorial Day? Buchholz sucked at Atlanta, then there was rain delay, and we came back from a huge hole, snapping a 10 game skid. This one is not over at all.
  14. Is that Hanley with an RBI? I don't remember the last time that happened.
  15. I still think we can win this game.
  16. So, are we making Nolasco look like the next MVP here today?
  17. If we were hitting, that would be a DP ball.
  18. Now Hanley's hat is falling off.
  19. Wow. Tomorrow night is Scrubs Night in Minnesota. What an idiotic idea.
  20. Oh boy, the double play bug has returned. It went away for one day.
  21. Lead off man is on... Seems like the first time in a while. Except yesterday.
  22. Well, it's just camo on the hat brims, hat logo, jersey logo and jersey number.
