  1. Under the radar?... This guy is even better doing that than a Stealth Aircraft I don't know you guys but I'm starting to worry. day after day pass, and out there are less options and any solid move yet at our pitching. Are all our moves going to be Stealth Aircrafts? Scary.
  2. Well, our top 3 better stay healthy and give us at least +-200 IP, otherwise, going to be a loooooong season. Btw Wheeler is back, right?
  3. And the money is not the driver? Yeah, sure! Wow!
  4. What happened with Beltran? He could be another option and play in the field... I'm not against Ortiz, he will produce, the thing is that I would prefer I guy who can play the field as well... But again, my concern is still pitching, pitching, pitching.
  5. Well, going to Boston next year maybe is not a good idea, after all. Going there is far to be cheap from here. I'm not sure whether the trip will worth or not, anymore. Your argument seems solid if we don't bust the cap or maybe BC is just about to probe that is very creative building teams.
  6. well, If that were the case they would be asking top prospects, wouldn't they?
  7. If I were the Angels I would keep Santana as well. What would they ask for him? Youk or what? Seems like that call about Santana is not a myth after all.
  8. Yup. hell, who is this guy? he is oppening his wallet just as fast as John Wayne did with his pistol
  9. well, the first big fish SP in FA just grabbed by another fish . 58/4 Y ? what do you think about this? looking at his numbers and considering his age, it is not a bad deal after all IMO. Seems like the fish is more than serious about this restructure.
  10. Damn!!!!!! The fish will go all the way huh? In spanish you say like this " Estan tirando la casa por la ventana"
  11. Ohh sorry, I totally forgot this one. I don't know why. Well, If Miller is the solution among others like him (long shots) in order to fill the pitching holes we are definitely screwed my friend.
  12. We've been discussing this concern jung, over and over again, and again you are right. You can even sign Pujols and Reyes if you want, and still you won't go anywhere without pitching. Our problem is not our offense, if you rush me, we can face next season with our current offense. IMO Lavarnway, Reddick and Kalish among others like Lowrie and Aviles can handle those offensive holes, regardless you won't clog these talent one more year. Sure, maybe you won't be the #1 offense again, but we will be fine if you balance this team with solid pitching. Our epic collapse was all about pathetic pitching and missing of depth. In fact, our rotation taxed a lot of pressure to our BP and mostly to the best offense of the league, night after night in September. We all know the results. You better Learn. Hopefully they already have everything figured out. Would be very dumb and pathetic if they didn't notice where is damn issue. Maybe and just maybe after this move (Ortiz) and considering that they won't have that room before the LT cap in order to fill those holes in our pitching, they are planning to go over it after all. You know what would be very but very scary, if they were very confident about Bard and probably Aceves in order to make their transition to the rotation and they built an entire BP with a bunch of looooong shot pieces, of course If they didn't bust the LT cap. That my friend, would be a scary movie that I definitely don't want to see.
  13. Exactly. ... and no moves at our #1 priority yet: PITCHING.
  14. One way or another there will repercussions. And still you will need money in order to bring solid pieces unless they are thinking in trades or maybe they are thinking in long shot pieces which would make me worry even more. We'll see.
  15. I 100% agree. If they sign Ortiz and if they do not bust the LT, I really don't see how they are going to fill those pitching holes with solid and proved pieces. This will be interesting and I will be kind of worried if they sign Ortiz and not pitching move yet at that time.
  16. I'm still using aspirins since then
  17. 10 M available in order to fill our pitching holes? I want to see how BC handles this. He will need to be creative.
  18. It's curious that they are trying to build a team with some latin star players, regardless Ozzy is Latin and a polemic character. I guess they are thinking in the large latin market that they have in Miami. I won't be surprised if they sign Cespedes since a lot of Cubans live in that area. Interesting way to attract fans to the stadium.
