I don't find out this post as a dumb one. He has an opinion. You don't share it?, fine. Show your arguments, instead of insulting other posters. Wait... I almost forget that you love insult others. :thumbdown

Exactly.

Very Welcome to TalkSox, mate.

I'm not sure if take this answer as a "yes" or as a "no" to my question.

How much was the Philly offering him?
-
Sources say that he signed for 10 M/ 1 year. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20120110&content_id=26308146&vkey=news_mlb&c_id=mlb

if they sign Fielder what will be his role in the mid-future? Trade-chip? Backup? Can he play another position?
-
Well, then I will follow my soccer team in 2012.

agree. The thing Jung is that at least one of our top 3 will likely go to the DL next year, regardless Bard will make his debut as a SP and the #5 is still a mystery. if this is true and Bard shits the bed, this #4 becomes very important. I think that this is the reason why this SP is becoming the center of our universe.

It's funny, Pal says that we're under the cap. Seems like this is a mystery too.
-
According with WEII, he is out of our list.
-
Subtract another Big fish from the list. Seems like Oswalt is the only option available.
-
I want to know the details of the contract.

Wait... are we already 6-8 over the cap? I thought that we were under the cap. If we are already over the cap I'll sign Madsen (+- 10M/3yrs) and Kuroda (12 M/1Y), right away.

You're welcome Jung. If this true (Kuroda out of the list), I don't see Boston giving Jackson a 5yr-contract. Oswalt surly is asking something around Kuroda's money/year. Madsen is the other option, but I don't want to see him as a starter. If they make a move, now is the moment. Remember that NY needs a pitcher too. The money won't be an issue for them, and Kuroda seems to be the best option out there.
