I would prefer Workman and even giving another shot to Webster or another rockie as depth. In the ALE Capuano will be destroyed.

It's time to see what WM & XB are made of --mostly WM---, I think it is what most of the fans are thinking... I want to see them playing everyday for once and for all. With Drew around WM would be likely the utility guy. If WM sucks, you can look for a 3B before the trade line.

Oh yeah, and I do agree with you. Drew is a better O player all the way, unless Iggy proves us wrong in the near future. But remember that my point was in a retrospective way rather than moving forward.

Bingo!. This is why I do not see D over I at 2013 PO since I still see a better glove in Iggy's, AND Still Iggy's line is better LOL!.

Yup. My point all along is that we are still winning the WS with Iggy at SS and Drew at bench in POs. In a retrospective point of view I see Iglesias hitting easily above .600 (In RS uniform, we'll never know though) and with his all star glove would have been a better option than Drew in 2013 POs. On the other hand, would I have wanted him back in 2014? tough question, specially when you see all those question marks on WM. Hell, he had a .735 OPS season, IMO his upside at O is higher, probably .750, IDK. Also he could have been used as trade chip at some point for SP, IDK. If this guy is entering at his prime an turns into reality (.750, all star D), this move will be a steal for DET. As I said, give him a couple of full seasons and We'll see.

Nice cherry picking. I meant the overall 2013 number. He hit .785 in BRS uniform and nobody knows how he could have ended up.

I think that he wanted him back because he didn't have a better combo option at SS AND 3B -- WM certainly wasn't at the time -- and Iggy at least was hitting when he left. As I said, we'll never know.
