    Yeah they put a pathetic 70 M offer at the time. At the end they put a135 M offer. Please explain me how a pitcher raise his value to the double in a couple of months. It was dumb. As I said, you would have signed him at 120M but they shitted the bed big time trying to cheat him.

    That is not true at all. Entering 2014 I was all in when they went with the prospects. We all know you like U?     It depends. I would base it on NPV, mostly considering the inflation that the league is facing. Look at Scherzer contract, it is around 210/14 Y isn't it? If the discount rate is 10% that contract woud look like a bargain to me.

    They underestimated his value. Lester himself said that he would have accepted a offer around 125 M at the time. Some people will always defend and find excuses even when the FO shits the bed like U?, He/She always will suck Cheringtons ass no matter what.

    Regarding Lester, they screwed it all along Kim. The evidence is out there and a lot has been discussed and I won't rewrite it all over again. The FO shitted the bed big time. So saying they executed wise on this regard, I do not think you are looking the whole picture.

What worries me is that the 2011 phenomena repeats all over again: it didn't matter how many Rs that team score, our pitching wasn't going to let us win, no matter what... And in the end of that season the pitching taxed that momentum to the O. It was scary.

    I see a very unbalanced team Kim. Some probably will go after my throat for this but I see in our team one of the worst 5 rotations in baseball right now Kim. Offense will be fine but unless we score a lot of runs, it will be a looooong season. Sure all teams have their ?s and all but I just can not understand how a high payroll team can go with a pitching staff like this. I just do not get it. As I said, hopefully I eat my words and everything goes fine for us next year.

    I've even seen a 9/1 odd to win the WS, the best shot I've seen to any team. But again, I do not buy at all.
