Yup and this is just a little taste of what is coming. They need to get rid of this guy somehow; as I said since day 1, ALEs teams will eat this guy alive. He is the worst SP in the AL. Send him to Chicago or something.

Yup. Actually Porcello himself is indeed aware that the problem is his command and execution. As I said, shut him down until the all-star game and help him fix this.

Seems like the problem is not the using of his sinker. He is using it but, he has lost command. Porcello, dressed in funereal black while standing in front of his locker, dismissed the suggestion that he was "lost” on the mound. "No, I don't feel lost," he said. "I know what's going on. A lot of fat pitches. Bottom line is executing. That's it." While it was a huge mistake, first off trading him and then giving him that extension, It is not Farrell's or Ben's fault regarding his execution. This is on him and at least he is aware of it. Shut him down till the all-star game and work with him whatever he has to work. it's enough already.

Probably a AAAA profile is what he is in the ALE. As I said since day one, He was a mediocre pitcher in the ALC but in the ALE, He will be destroyed.

I would start rebuilding the FO. Then everything else. Once again in the last place is inexcusable, so BC has to go.

That's the thing. The owner hires you to command/lead/implement whatever strategy/process that has made you successful as a GM regardless the industry. This is what/why you are paid to do. Said that, the process has practically zero importance when most of your decisions have not worked out, not for 1 but 3 of the last 4 years with plenty of resources. Results are what keep you in that chair. BL. Processes are meaningless without results.

I think where is the issue, SK. No one here is disputing that Ben made this moves without a plan or a case behind each move. Of course he and his colleagues had their reasons to do, whatever they tried to do. In fact some like you agreed with most of their decisions, didn't you? And it is fine. On the other hand, other fans, experts, etc. like me, thought that this strategy was a bad idea since day 1, and we as Ben, rest our cases as well. In the end, the entire strategy has not worked out for whatever reason. His responsibility does not end once the the product is on the field, No sir. His responsibility depends on the result of the product, since he is the GM, regardless the strategy he decided to use.
