  1. Nice win. We can hit against their BP.
  2. I think he has managed very poorly this series. I think this is a huge opportunity to learn if he is humble. Hopefullly he learns from this moving forward.
  3. I was thinking the same.
  4. Cora over managing again.
  5. Wow, it was wide open
  6. Huuuuuuuuge break. It was clearly safe to me.
  7. Wow! It was safe.
  8. +1. I think Cora is over managing here.
  9. I know but Hembree is my last option.
  10. Not sure why Cora insists in Hembree in high leverage situations.
  11. Well, We just hit in a clutch moment. This could have happened the last two as well, but as I said, luck wasn’t in our side.
  12. 1-0 Lead for 3rd game in a row. Beat these clowns, Go Sox!
  13. LOL! I don’t see any indicator to expect an epic collapse for the Sox.
  14. ...... and daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Yankees lose!
  15. As I said, I truly believe this is our year.
  16. I bet the Sox look better this year than last.
  17. Sounds crazy, but these little details could make the difference in POs.
  18. Yeah! Plus, Betts and Benny have great OBP. i.e. he most likely will have an AB batting behind them anyways and will likely produce more runs as you said. Said that, I’d give XB the 3rd slot. Betts-Benny-XB-JD
  19. Thanks Bell, seems like my memory still works LOL!
  20. Is it just me or JD hits better at the 4th slot? I’d like to see the numbers. I’d put XB batting ahead JD followed by Pearce or Kinsler.
  21. BTW Yankees are about blow this one LOL
  22. I understand the frustration and all Tyler. I’m pissed as well, but we just didn’t hit in clutch opportunities as we usually have done all year long. This time luck wasn’t in our side. s*** happens, even to high caliber teams. Also If I recall well, last year we won the series against them in regular season and we lost in POs. My money is still on the Sox. Regarding the BP, yeah, we can not hide the sun with a finger, but I bet Cora and the pitching coaches are working on this.
  23. Geez we just can’t get a break.
  24. There were some key situations where we could have sealed the win, but IMO the most relevant was when XB took a pitch which was clearly a ball —and it was not even close— and the ump called it strike; the count was 2-1 with bases loaded. Their pitcher was lost at that point, and that strike called brought him to alive.
  25. This game could go to one way or another. We just weren’t lucky. We left tons of runners on base. While I want to win all the games, I really don’t care about the score, it was a great game. What I wanted to see was David Price pitching against a very good line up. He just confirmed he is ready for POs. He did a great job against Cleveland and tonight again vs Houston. If Sale is 100% healthy, we can match up any rotation.
