  1. Not sure what’s the point in sending Hembree over and over again to allow HRs.
  2. Couldn’t catch the game entirely because I left a bar to go to another —reasons can’t be said LOL!— which btw were transmitting the Jets vs Browns game, and the manager of the bar didn’t want to change the channel because other clients were supposedly watching the football from the beginning — honestly, who the f*** cares about Jets vs Browns game here in Mexico for God sakes LOL! Anyways, It’s been a great season for our Sox thus far. Now with the division under the belt, it’s time to plan, make the final auditions/adjustments, rest and do all the neccesary to get into the POs in the best shape as possible.
  3. The W/L should be the metric when you play such long season over too many games. Win 100+ AND be ahead 8-10 games over the 2nd best team is not randomness. Then... you can split the numbers all you want, make some decent conjectures, and back them up with some stats and info, but in the end it will be a rational subjective opinion at best. So don’t worry, in the end the game has to be played in October, and that my friend is a different animal.
  4. And the last two we turned off the winning mode.
  5. I know the BP has been a big area of opportunitty to say the less but on the bright side you won’t see Hembree, Kelly, Cuevas, Thorn, etc. —I’ll be surprised if so. The BP for POs will likely be: C Kimbrel S Braiser Eovaldi/E-Rod Poyner Wright Barnes Workman Johnson Velazquez The list could be shorter/larger, but this will be likely the staff. Said that, I think we can compete with this, it’s not like other BPs are way better/worse than this.
  6. Could play against us.
  7. Yeah, but I’m going to make a honest question. Do you think we could lose rythm if we are not in winning mode next two weeks?
  8. In my very humble opinion, I wouldn’t pay Kimbrel. IMHO he won’t be what he used to be moving forward.
  9. I won’t be surprised if they reach OAK. It’s a shame they play in the ALE.
  10. Well, before tonight’s game, Price is 7.1 ERA in his last five games vs NYY. Price is going to be oks, but he used to struggle vs NY. The same happens to other pitchers. For example If I recall well, Porcello struggles way bad vs TOR, but pitches very well vs HOU and NY.
  11. The best thing of tonight’s game, the catch of Sam Travis LOL!
  12. I would have yesterday. Eovaldi pitches well against NY, Price does not. I would have yesterday to clinch the division and rotate/rest — or whatever you want to call it— the 25 the next 2 weeks.
  13. Can’t explain why he turned this bad. His days in Boston are counted.
  14. Ok I authorize to lose today LOL!
  15. If my math doesn’t lie, the day the Yankees lose and the day we win, no matter when, we clinch the division, aren’t we?
  16. Nope, it should have been yesterday
  17. Well, there goes the game.
  18. Another leadoff wasted.
  19. Sum yesterday’s.
  20. ... and JBJ is still hitless.
  21. Price is not sharp by any means, but it’s not like we are watching Pomeranz. I think, only 2Rs are earned. BTW, Leon just hit after 0-30 LOL!
  22. I think Pearce can do better — and I don’t care the platoon thing.
  23. How much Pearce is hitting against RHP?
  24. The only mistake Cora did, was yesterday, when he went with that line up after a day of rest. We should’ve clinched yesterday LOL! BTW another Pop up for XB
  25. Price has only 2hit —one of them a HR. The thing with Price tonight has been the walks.
