The key is the first inning. He used to complicate himself entering in games vs NY. If he hangs a zero in the first inning, he will likely settle and we will have a good chance to win this one.

This is probably going to be the last big test for Price. He has struggled vs NY. If he posts another solid start, it would be the third in a row against PO teams.

As I said two months ago, my money still on the Sox to win it all.

I think we just missed two key pieces moon —huge assets—, and probably with them on the field we could have won. Said that, it’s not like we sent the line up we used in the 3rd game of the series in Atlanta.

He s*** the bed tonight. In the 8th inning he tried to spark the inning sending Benny —trying to win I guess. In the 9th you have 2 men on base with one out, Kinsler was lost all night, Britton panicked, and you have the best hitter of the game to come in and you don’t send him? If Mookie is ok, It’s unacceptable.

I don’t know but he would have faced the bottom of their line up. I would have given him the inning until he gives a BB/hit.

If Eovaldi goes another inning, it’s not like he will be tired for POs. He was pitching very well. Also, he likely will be part of the pen.

Cora agin took away his SP with only 80 pitches, and now he brings Benny trying to win it, when he had the opportunity with men on base. Don’t get it.

As I said early, Eovaldi has great numbers vs NY. At least should be considered.

To be fair, Eovaldi has a solid track record in NY.
