Not sure how Hamilton is a better PH option than Narvaez even vs a RHP. It’s beyond me. This platoon thing is absurd at times.

Bernardino has been massively overused and it’s starting taxing him. On paper the idea of pulling Bello was good but watching how the BP has been used he should have reconsidered.

Nice to see Campbell, Mayer and Anthony playing together for the first time. Hopefully they are the real deal and the core of team to build around moving forward. As I said on other post, if we don’t make the POs this year but as long they give plenty ABs to this core I have nothing to complain about. They need to figure out how to trade Story and even Bergman though, and next year add a couple of elite bats and another ace to contend.

Yeah, as I say the winning culture is only one of several issues, but still players should do what their coaches tell them.

Are you telling that if Devers plays 1B he won’t hit well? Really? said that, IMO he would do fine at 1B but I like him at DH, but that’s another discussion.

IMHO jason one of the main reasons this team has sucked in recent seasons it’s because there’s a lack of culture. IMO I don’t care if you are Bebe Ruth, you have to play where you are told or you go to bench or get traded. Sorry but not sorry.

Yup, it’s that simple. If he’s told to play the OF, he better play the godamn OF. I don’t remember a player not willing to play (publicly) a different position.

If anyone saw Toro doing this before season started, (s)he is lying. Ppl keep saying he’s nothing but utility. Idk anymore. Story goes yard as well!!! Lets go!!

The BP hasn’t been that bad and in all fairness Buehrle and Giolito aren't fixable, they simply suck. Old monkeys don’t learn new tricks. Also Fitts and Dobbins have stepped up very nice. The bad thing is that this BP will be burned out by August and maybe earlier.

If there were any doubt today is safe to say that Campbell is officially and absolutely lost at the plate — yet Cora PH for Abreu against RHP. Simply unbelievable. Man you have to do obvious. Do yourself a favor and SIT Story and Campbell for a while if you want to win games.
