Because there’s no other reason to perform above/below their standards. Sorry moon, you are trying to complicate things that simply aren’t. If you played a lot baseball you wouldn’t send Kershaw over Schilling in a decisive game. Numbers are cold and solid. Kershaw is mediocre in POs. -

In POs the environment/pressure is bigger. It’s common sense. Pitching in the 9th inning you handle more pressure. Pitching/hitting with bases loaded implies more pressure. Hitting with RISP implies more pressure. Etc. If you can’t understand that, with all due respect, you don’t understand baseball. -

2-2 but our base running keeps being horrible man. As someone said it before, Montgomery's OPS against in clutch situations dramatically goes from 500 to 800 (or something). If this is not a prove of clutch, I don't know what it is lol. He shouldn't have pitched a FB at all. I think it was Sanchez' call though.

Look at KIKE, he started to take balls after a 0-2 count and he finally walked. Our guys need to be patience.
