  1. If someone is concerned with a 7 IP, 4 ER game, they haven't watched the Red Sox in a few years.
  2. Ortiz has already made an impact on this lineup.
  3. Wilson, Wright, Webster probably. Maybe a phantom DL trip for Miller as well.
  4. Its unfair to compare Drew to his brother. Its unfair to look solely on his 2011/2012 numbers and injury history. However, I don't think its unfair to look at his .115 BA and average defensive abilities and ask the real question: Did he need more time to recover from his concussion, and use the very good defensive player currently stashed in the minors.
  5. Iglesias would have saved two runs there.
  6. How is Santana looking? 47 pitches through 2 innings is crazy, and KC's pen looked awful yesterday.
  7. I was at the game, and as usual, waves of pink-hatters flooded to the exits in a 1 run game. That being said.... I had been anti-Sweet-Caroline for a while, but the tragedy has given it new meaning. Its turned from an obnoxious unrelated sing-along to a piece of Boston pride-- played in numerous baseball stadiums this week as a tribute to the victims in Boston. Neil Diamond flew --out on his own dime-- to be with Boston fans yesterday. Sure, it wasn't the best of renditions, but the Red Sox apparently didn't have a copy of the song without Neil's voice, and its incredibly difficult to beat your own voice-- especially the cleaned up studio version from your own prime.
  8. If you hear some drunk guy in the bleachers randomly shouting USA.... It is what it is.
  9. Harvey is 4-0 with the Mets.
  10. We'll be at the game today. I would not doubt if it isn't one of the best games of the year. Not only is it Buchholz v. Shields, its also the first game in Boston since the bombing, and the first game since the ******* was caught. The crowd will be blissful, and the Red Sox will be pumped up. Oh, and it happens to be a certain holiday.
  11. Rangers lose Matt Harrison to back surgery till July. I know its early, but this opens a lot of doors for Oakland and Kansas.
  12. I have tickets for the game tomorrow. Really hope that doesn't get called as well.
  13. Game postponed --ABC
  14. Eh, only 12. Oh well, still the same phenomenal outcome!
  15. 11-4 without Ortiz. His homecoming tomorrow is going to add yet another way for this team to win.
  16. May the Yanks and Snakes play a long bullpen-destroying 15 inning game resulting in a Diamondback victory.
  17. Poor call by going with Miller after his miserable year so far. Now they needed to waste Uehara for one out in the 8th. Mortensen is probably the better bullpen arm right now.
  18. You must have missed his monster double earlier that was probably inches away from a HR:lol:
  19. Big big inning for the Red Sox.
  20. Umpire interference.
  21. There were two innings where he gave up leadoff doubles--resulting in the two runs-- which has hurt him. Besides that he's been pretty solid.
  22. That was only a 10 pitch inning, he probably has another in him.
  23. Is it just me, or do the umps get worse and worse every year?
  24. Just saw the news about Jeter. The division looks wide open right now.
  25. Woah, that looked gone.
