  1. Last night was a good example of why Mo is the greatest reliever of all time, he's 40 years old, throws 40 pitches; loads the bases with no outs. Then gets a Pop Up, Pop Up, Strike Out. Truely Amazing
  2. The Mariners are preparing for the Yankees to pursue Lee, according to the New York Post, which quoted a “person familiar with Seattle’s thought process” as saying the team would ask for one of the Yankees’ young catchers as well as Triple A shortstop Eduardo Nunez. The Yankees, to part with such a package, would want assurances that they could sign Lee to an extension, the Post said.
  3. At this point I think they'd just be better off cutting Park and going in a different direction.
  4. As long as Mariano has command of his cutter, he can easily be effective for several more years. Just look at Jamie Moyer who's 47 now and only throws between 75-83mph, he kept the Yankees offense from scoring last week. You don't need alot of speed to get batters out, its all about locating the pitches.
  5. How do the Angels suck? They're playing above .500 and they make into the playoffs every year. Were you quick to forget what happened in the playoffs last year when they sent Boston home?
  6. How will they be able to afford many of those players when the Ray's owner stated their current 70mil payroll will be dropped down to the 40-50mill range next year?
  7. Texeira hits a Grand Slam off Santana
  8. Last team to win a Finals Game 7 on the road? 1978....Washington beat Seattle 105-99 in OT
  9. Interesting statistic the last time Halladay gave up 3 home run's in a game was against the Yankees and Halladay hadn't given up a home run against a left handed hitter all season untill the 3 he gave up tonight all against lefties
  10. Not sure of the exact reason, but they are still Major League teams with Major League talent, sure you expect them to win all the time against them, but its not like they're playing against triple A teams. 1-7 in extra innings seems to be pretty unlucky
  11. Halladay is getting lit up tonight, 5 runs in less than 3 innings
  12. You mean the same extact year your World Series MVP and ALCS MVP both tested postive for PED's? Plenty are still laughing about that one.
  13. Pitching well against the Pirates doesn't say that much, A Rod makes nearly as much salary as their entire team does, along with the fact they have the worst offense in all of baseball, ranking 30th out of 30.
  14. If you could choose between Kobe's previous 10 years, or LeBron's next 10 years which would you pick?
  15. Monster 3 run homer by Tex, reached the bleachers
  16. Bryant is the leagues best basketball player. James is leagues best athlete by far, but Bryant has the better skill set, his game reaching all aspects of the basketball spectrum. What James can do, Bryant simply does better. Sure Bryant isn't stacked with triple-doubles, but in all reality he doesn't have to be. He still passes better, dribbles better, shoots better, plays defense better, and in reality scores in every way better than James to this point. Bryant has developed the best "rise up" shot in the game, as he with ease rises above any and every defender and drills shot after shot after shot. Bryant may not slam everything threw the rim like James, but there have been times when James has missed dunks because he just has to power everything in. James being the athlete he is, uses his ability to get to the rim and when that may be taken away from him he will rise up for the jumper. His game resembles that of a baseball pitcher with two strong pitches, the fast ball and the change up. No matter what, his opponent knows whats coming. Bryant however, he resembles the like of a premiere pitcher who can rotate between his change up, fastball, knuckle ball, and curve ball to the point where you never know whats coming, he makes sure to keep his opponent uncomfortable
  17. Lakers win over Celtics in 6 imo
  18. Dye would not help this team, when players remain free agents after the season starts, there's usually a reason for it. Now that Granderson's back they DFA'd Randy Winn, as Kevin Russo will now stick as a super utility player
  19. Football is made to be played in the Elements, I think its a great idea
  20. First time in history the Superbowl will be played in a cold outdoor climate http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/nfl/news/story?id=5219486
