  1. Jose Bautista must be juicing, dominican player with a career high 16 home run's suddenly jumping to 40?
  2. f***ing Bautista, scored all 3 of Jays runs tonight
  3. No I was agreeing with you Damon won't be able to replace their production and get them into the playoffs.
  4. Its being reported Damon doesn't want to go to Boston, he wanted to go to Tampa but the Sox claimed him to block it
  5. You're right, Sox have to make up 6 games in lose column with only 30 something games remaining without the help of Pedroia and Youkilis
  6. Being indicted is one thing, but I'm not so sure he'll actually be convicted.
  7. This is why I have Strasburg as my #2, he doesn't have much experience yet he's easily the greatest pitching prospect in the last decade, and his potentional for the next 2 years is very high.
  8. I vote for yrtb, bullpens and lineup are close, but yrtb has a edge his rotation
  9. Sabathia , Garza, and Pettitte have also proved they can handle the pressure and pitch well in post season when it matters most. I agree you have a edge in pitching on paper but if were a real series I believe it would be alot closer then you think.
  10. To be fair if this were a real playoff matchup we'd be using a 4 man rotation so I'd never let Vazquez on the field. Also CC Sabathia, Andy Pettitte, and Matt Garza are all AL East pitchers which should reward them with a slight boost for pitching in the toughest division in MLB.
  11. Hughes is a potentional Ace down the road, without a doubt.
  12. Can you consider raising it by 2 more Teams? I don't think it would hurt, even ESPN Fantasy has the option for 14 Team Leagues.
  13. Fair enough, Mets and Cubs are a good example of wasting money.
  14. Same could be said about the Red Sox, 2nd highest payroll at 162 million, which is double or more then half the teams in MLB. Yankees are about 44 million above the Sox, yet the Sox are 44 million or more above all teams in MLB except 5.
  15. C: Brian McCann push Victor Martinez 1B: Justin Morneau 2B: Chase Utley > Ben Zobrist SS: Rafael Furcal > Elvis Andrus 3B: Ryan Zimmerman LF: Carl Crawford > Shane Victorino CF: Torii Hunter push Matt Kemp RF: Shin Soo Choo DH: Manny Ramirez I vote for myself having a slightly better lineup, Rotation's are a push, his bullpen a little better. Close matchup
  16. I'm interested in joining
  17. Wilson is a push to Bailey in my opinon in 2009 Bailey had 26 SV 1.84 ERA, Wilson had 38 SV 2.74 ERA in 2010 Bailey has 20 SV 1.56 ERA, Wilson has 33 SV, 2.06 ERA Overall you're pitching is slightly better and my offense is certainly better. Offense players are on the field everyday while specific pitchers have much less time on the field. Implying Offense isn't as important to pitching is false, otherwise people would just use there first 4 picks on Ace's. I don't expect you to see it my way since you want your own team to win. so we can agree to disagree
  18. Elvis is a push with Alexei, and a good fit for my team as 9th in the lineup, pretty good avg with alot of speed
  19. I vote my team should win this matchup, my offense is considerably stronger while theres not a huge difference between the pitching.
  20. if andrus sucked why was he on the all star team? Wainwright would certainly see a turn in numbers if he pitched in the AL East like Sabathia. not to mention CC was fantasic in the playoffs last year and the year before all while pitching on short rest. Pettitte is the pitcher with the most post season wins in history. he still gets it done when it matters most.
  21. How is Longoria better then A Rod? Evan Longoria: Last 3 years HR RBI BB K SB CS AVG OBP SLG OPS 2008 27 85 46 122 7 0 .272 .343 .531 .874 2009 33 113 72 140 9 0 .281 .364 .526 .889 2010 15 72 59 96 15 3 0 .286 .371 .486 .858 Alex Rodriguez : Last 3 years Team HR RBI BB K SB CS AVG OBP SLG OPS 2008 35 103 65 117 18 3 .302 .392 .573 .965 2009 30 100 80 97 14 2 .286 .402 .532 .933 2010 21 97 45 76 4 3 .268 .338 .492 .829 Overall Alex beats Evan in everything. More HR's, RBI's, SB's, higher AVG, OBP, SLG, and OPS They're about equal on defense.
  22. Italstallion gets my vote, more potent lineup, though I liked jbay's rotation more.
  23. I have to go with YRTB for this one as well
  24. I vote jbay44, better team overall
