  1. Okay let me find another pitcher
  2. I'm sure yrtb will fix it later, you're still on the clock however
  3. Yeah 8th round 4th pick, you could take the other Upton brother though
  4. After the Rays made it 3-0 after two innings, Burnett marched into New York's clubhouse and slammed open a set of double doors leading to the showers at the far end of the room, slicing both hands on the plastic lineup-card holders pasted to the door.
  5. Yeah I was under the same impression when I made my SS pick, but rookie's value won't be hurt as yrtb cleared it up for me when he said "For players who haven't played 2008 or 2009 it doesn't hurt their value. For them you just base it off how they have played so far and how well they are expected to play from now on"
  6. Alright picked Elvis Andrus instead of Alexei Ramirez
  7. Oh I wasn't aware of that, can I edit my pick this one time?
  8. Like who? I was considering Elvis Andrus, but since '09 was his first year and we're including '08 '09 '10 he didn't seem like a viable option. After the top 5 SS's are choosen its pretty much a wash
  9. Yeah it would've look better without GMS lol
  10. It probably wouldn't make a difference if we skip him or not, it seems obvious he wasn't taking his picks seriously and he'll be in last place ether way. lol
  11. Also CC Sabathia won the Cy Young in 2007, he certainly has the ability to be a front runner for it again
  12. Sure they count but the season is only half over, Teixeira started off slow last year yet he managed to finish second in the AL MVP balloting behind Joe Mauer
  13. You guys realize Sabathia's ERA is at 1.81 over his past eight starts, winning them all. He was 4-3, with a 4.16 ERA over his first 11 starts, started off slow but now he's on fire.
  14. Yeah its posted on ESPN http://sports.espn.go.com/boston/mlb/news/story?id=5375146
  15. "I don't want one year. Why should I return for one year and go through the same stuff I'm going through now, just because it's my last year? No. I like to be left alone when I'm playing baseball. I know how to clean my stuff up.'' - Ortiz
  16. m'kay, I'll go with Shane Victorino
