  1. Beating the Yankees is everything.
  2. Agon's OPS is now up over .820, and he's still a run producing machine whether he hits bombs or not.
  3. Lol, this is so pretentious. I can't even begin to find where you think you can justify criticizing the pitch selection of someone who's a career .900 OPS hitter. Do you really think you know how to read pitches better? You're just a fan, and you act like you know what it's like out there, and even worse, in the players' heads and in the clubhouse. Every post you make is some psychoanalytical ********.
  4. My 10,000th post has to go toward a thank you. God that guy was annoying.
  5. I died. That's one of the funniest I've ever seen.
  6. You criticize players just to criticize. I remember when Aviles got an RBI hit a month ago or so, and you complained about the execution.
  7. Why didn't we call up Lavarnway earlier? Saving Ryan's Privates
  8. Could also go with a reference to Gonzalez playing in the outfield. Agon's In The Outfield Or for some of you Agon haters: 20 Million Dollar Crybaby
  9. It's no contest, he's been one of the best pitchers in baseball recently, if not the best.
  10. Close Encounters of The Third Place Kind.
  11. Buch is on the hill, let's win this one.
  12. They give a s*** in the sense that they hire the right people to make them money. That's why they hire people. To do the work for them, it's not a difficult concept. When I go to work, the owners don't even have a hand in the business, aside from dropping off checks and the occasional drop-ins, unless business is effected. Lucchino has gotten his way with everything basically, and I see no evidence suggesting JH is the one most in charge. Maybe in terms of actual authority, but he doesn't make the decisions, he hires people to do that for him.
  13. This totally is off-topic.
  14. Owners are interested in money. As long as LL is making bank for him, JH probably doesn't really give a s***.
  15. Managers don't come up with a plan to get guys like Pedroia out? Haha. No one says you can't have enough 2B because, like all positions, one regular takes up 95% of the playing time there. I'll take 160 games of top-form Pedroia over 35 games of top-form just about any pitcher. Unless there's a guy to replace his value to a level that this ace pitcher can more than make up for, I'd rather have Pedroia.
  16. JH doesn't seem very involved, and LL always seems to get his way.
  17. The architect is the one who runs it. The players are absolutely to blame, especially Beckett and Lester, plus underperforming by others offensively, but LL definitely seems to be the most responsible in the FO.
